Ken Nelson

President

Ken Nelson brings over 30 years of comprehensive experience in engineering, business development and project management across companies such as Raytheon, Harris, Exelis, DRS, Rockwell Collins, Communication Solutions and Spectranetix. Ken has a successful record in small and large business growth and understands how to navigate sales and strategies from small project sales to $500M+ program captures.  As the Vice President of Business Development for Pacific Defense he recently led efforts including strategy and growth, customer relationship development, capture, product management, sales, and marketing. Ken’s leadership led to numerous key program wins in US and foreign markets.

Ken has worked on numerous US Department of Defense, Intel Community and NATO efforts related to Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Electronic Warfare, Signals Intelligence and Tactical Communications. Ken has years of engineering and field experience and has led system integration efforts for Air, Land and Sea platforms across the US and in over a dozen countries.

Ken holds an MBA from the University of Dallas and is a Navy Gulf War Veteran.

Marty Cunningham

Consultant

Marty Cunningham founded MC Connect in June 2012.  MC Connect is a business development consulting firm and manufacturer’s sales representative serving the Defense and Aerospace industry.

In 2013 along with two other partners he co-founded iRF Intelligent RF Solutions (formerly Cobham Defense – M/A-COM SIGINT Products.)  His role at iRF was Vice President, Sales & Marketing where I leveraged and developed mid-to-high level client relationships within the DoD and Prime contractor community specifically focused on the ELINT/ EW mission.

Prior to iRF he worked as Director of Worldwide Sales at DRS Signal Solutions for 4 years where he led a team of field application engineers in growing their microwave tuner and SDR products within the IC.  Before DRS he was the Sales & Marketing Director at Tyco Electronics/ M/A-COM SIGINT Products business unit an RF and microwave supplier serving the EW/ intelligence industry for 8 years.

He received his BS degree in Business Management at George Mason University in 1991 while working full time at Aiken Advanced Systems.  After gaining experience with DoD programs and Engineering/ Operations management he began is sales career in 1993.  He is the consummate salesman having the work ethic and professional integrity to continually build Customer trust and meet or exceed expectations
